Home Counties Pools \& Hot Tubs are a small, friendly Company based in Horsham that have been established for 40 years. We are currently looking to recruit a trainee Pool Engineer.
We are seeking a motivated Pool Valet/Trainee Swimming Pool Engineer to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in an engineering role. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and gain valuable experience in pool servicing and basic engineering tasks.

The ideal candidate should have the following attributes and qualifications;

• *Hard working and able to use their own initiative*


• *Able to work as part of a team with an approachable and friendly manner as well as the ability to work on their own*


• *Physically fit and strong with a ‘can\-do’ attitude*


• *Have a professional manner when meeting and greeting customers*


• *Hold a full clean driving licence*


• *Self\-motivated and able to work independently when required*


• *A basic electrical understanding would be an advantage*


• *Must be well presented*


• *Good communication skills*


• *The successful applicant must be educated to GCSE pass level C or above in at least English and Maths*


• *Live in or around the Horsham area*

The role will include;

• *Weekly / fortnightly servicing of indoor and outdoor swimming pools and all* associated plant


• *Replacing serviceable items such as pumps and pool covers*


• *Carrying out water sample testing*


• *Small maintenance works / alterations / basic plumbing / basic electrical works*


• *Opening up / closing down outdoor pools at the beginning / end of the season*


• *Aiding in the installation of hot tubs*


• *Installation of pool equipment*


• *General duties to be carried out at our showroom*


• *On\-site training*

Working hours would typically be 8\.00am\-5\.00pm (Monday to Friday).

In return we offer a competitive remuneration – four weeks annual leave plus all bank holidays – company vehicle after a probation period (for work use only). Full training and uniform will be provided to the successful applicant.

Pay: £26,500\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
