Job description

We are currently recruiting for a full\-time Pool Plant and Leisure Manager to oversee the daily operations of our spa’s thermal and gym facilities. Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will be a proud ambassador of the thermal spa areas at Bellinter House Hotel \& Bathhouse Spa.

A current pool plant qualification and knowledge of water management is essential.

Key responsibilities for the role will include:

· Supervise and support the thermal spa team whilst liaising with the Spa Manager.

· Ensure all thermal facilities are operating safely, efficiently, and in line with health and hygiene regulations.

· Conduct regular inspections of thermal areas, equipment, and water quality and record all these inspections.

· Manage the thermal spa booking system ensuring it runs smoothly and that guests leave at the appropriate times.

· Welcome and assist hotel guests and members, providing excellent customer service.

· Ensure health, safety and hygiene procedures are followed.

· Maintain accurate records, including equipment checks and incidents.

· Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams for repairs and cleanliness

· standards.

· Maintain inventory of supplies including chemicals/equipment.

· Oversee a detailed preventative maintenance plan for plant and equipment.

· Work closely with the hotel management team to ensure a high standard of guest experience.

· Assist with opening and closing procedures.

· Manage the daily operation of the hotel gym and fitness facilities.

· Ensure the gym is clean, safe, organised and well maintained.

· Carry out gym inductions and explain the safe use of equipment.

· Develop and maintain simple fitness programmes where appropriate.

· Monitor gym equipment and report any maintenance or safety issues.

· Assist with scheduling and training of thermal and gym staff.

· Promote Bathhouse memberships, personal training and other fitness services where applicable.

What We’re Looking For:

· Relevant qualifications in fitness, pool plant operators, health \& wellness and leisure management (desirable)

· Previous experience working in a gym, leisure centre, hotel or fitness environment.

· Knowledge of thermal spa operations, water treatment and health \& safety standards.

· Strong leadership and communication skills

· A customer focused and can\-do attitude.

· Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent

Pay: E38,000 per annum
