About us
------------
The University College London (UCL) Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) is working on a project that connects green industrial strategy, macro\-financial policies, the role of the state as a market creator, and green public finance. The project will look to tackle the myth that net zero investment comes at the cost of growth, and shape government policy to reflect this. The project will build on Professor Mazzucato and Professor Ryan\-Collins’s work to challenge UK leaders to create and deliver a strong vision, maximise the impact of the tools and institutions at their disposal, and create the right implementation capacity needed to deliver a just transition. We will do this through a combination of research, teaching and policy practice. We will then use the lessons from this project to develop a blueprint for how to deliver net zero missions across the globe.
