Plumbing and Heating Engineer

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances across diverse settings


• Service heating systems such as boilers, radiators, and thermostats to ensure optimal performance


• Conduct routine inspections to identify issues early and prevent system failures


• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to assemble and modify plumbing and heating components


• Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large equipment or materials


• Follow safety protocols diligently while working on commercial driving routes or transporting equipment


• Troubleshoot mechanical problems using mechanical knowledge and basic math calculations for precise repairs


• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet client expectations

Skills

• Proficiency in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance techniques


• Skilled in welding and the use of hand tools and power tools for various tasks


• Strong mechanical knowledge related to heating systems and plumbing infrastructure


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in demanding environments


• Experience with carpentry tasks related to system assembly or modifications


• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting procedures


• Valid commercial driving license (preferred) for transporting equipment or parts between sites


• Familiarity with assembly processes involving plumbing or heating components
