Join our dynamic team as a self employed Plumbing and Heating Engineer. You can work part time or full time and choose what days you want to work each week

Your expertise will drive the delivery of top\-quality plumbing and heating solutions across a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, boilers, radiators, and water heaters in accordance with safety standards and regulations


• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing and heating systems to identify issues before they escalate


• Troubleshoot complex problems with heating units, pumps, valves, and associated equipment to determine root causes


• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices


• Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and provide expert advice on system upgrades or replacements


• Complete detailed reports on work performed, parts used, and system conditions for record\-keeping and future reference


• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety

Skills

• Proven experience in installing, servicing, and repairing plumbing and heating systems in residential or commercial settings


• Strong knowledge of current plumbing codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards


• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately


• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts effectively


• Strong communication skills to explain technical information clearly to clients and team members


• Valid certification or license as a Plumbing or Heating Engineer (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)


• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast\-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
