Plumbing and Heating Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across a variety of commercial and residential properties. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, practical experience with hand and power tools, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair plumbing and heating systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations


• Install all types of plumbing such as bathrooms \& kitchen 1st/2nd fix


• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they develop into major problems


• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks efficiently


• Perform heavy lifting when handling equipment or materials required for installations or repairs


• Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot system faults and implement effective solutions


• Maintain detailed records of work completed and parts used for each job


• Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe at all times


• Operate commercial vehicles responsibly when travelling between sites

Requirements

• Proven experience in plumbing, heating systems, or related mechanical trades


• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes


• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, heating installation, and maintenance procedures


• Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and technical documentation


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout the workday


• Experience with carpentry tasks relevant to system installation or repairs is desirable


• Valid driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles is preferred


• Good organisational skills with attention to detail and safety compliance


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast\-paced environment
