Job Overview
We are seeking a personable skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our small family run business. As a company, we strive to deliver a high standard of workmanship and service to our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across a variety of primarily residential properties. This role requires a dedicated and practical individual who takes pride in their work, has strong mechanical knowledge, excellent problem\-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The position offers an opportunity to develop technical expertise in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and heating systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations


• Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks efficiently.


• Read technical drawings and schematics accurately to execute installation or repair work.


• Assist with the assembly of mechanical components and systems as required.


• Adhere to company policies and standards at all times.

• Proven experience with a range of plumbing and heating systems, and all types of plumbing materials and methods.


• Personality of integrity, honestly, respectfulness and loyalty.


• A sense of humor!


• Ability to accept responsibility for their work.


• Basic maths skills.


• Valid driving licence for commercial driving duties.


• Excellent problem\-solving skills with attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast\-paced environment.
