Parts Manager

The Parts Manager plays a key role in supporting Golf Car UK’s Parts and Service operations. Parts Manager – Role Overview
Golf Car UK is seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to run our growing Parts departments. This is a full‑time, office‑based position (Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:30\) at our Andover site.
Key Responsibilities
Parts Management
- Receive, unpack, print and apply QR codes and accurately record incoming parts and stock deliveries.
- Store and organise parts, ensuring clear, up‑to‑date inventory records.
- Respond to workshop, field engineers, and customer enquiries by phone and email, delivering prompt, informed support.
- Identify required parts for customers and technicians. (Training Given)
- Provide accurate part‑number guidance.
- Contribute to the development of our ongoing bespoke software system
- Process sales of parts and accessories for phone‑in and online orders.
- Handle payments and ensure accurate documentation.
- Update stock levels and product information on the online parts website.
- Support and Mentor the Parts and Service assisitant.
- Develop into wider service administration responsibilities as needed.
We are looking for someone who:
- Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Has a confident and courteous telephone manner.
- Works methodically with strong decision‑making skills.
- Demonstrates resilience and can manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Is proficient with Microsoft Office and willing to learn internal systems.
- Follows established processes and works well independently and as part of a team.
- Ideally has good geographical knowledge of the UK.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- A‑Levels or equivalent (graduates welcomed).
- Strong IT skills, including email, spreadsheets, and general office software.
- Experience in administration, logistics, customer service, or a similar operational role (preferred but not essential).
- Full UK driving licence (desirable).
- Salary: £38,000\+ per annum
- 4 weeks’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays and your birthday
