Plumbing and Heating Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across a variety of commercial and residential properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and practical skills in plumbing, heating, and related trades. The position involves working both independently and as part of a team to deliver high\-quality service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.


• Fitting and servicing heating systems such as boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating.


• Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks efficiently.


• Conducting routine inspections to identify faults or potential issues within plumbing and heating systems.


• Diagnosing problems accurately using mechanical knowledge and basic maths calculations.


• Performing heavy lifting of equipment or materials safely in accordance with health and safety regulations.


• Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes, safety standards, and client specifications.


• Maintaining detailed records of work completed for each project or service call.

• Proven experience in plumbing, heating installation, or maintenance roles is essential.


• Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly methods in a trades environment.


• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.

Pay: £16\.00\-£19\.00 per hour
