Kennedy Maintenance is a growing London\-based property maintenance and refurbishment company specialising in high\-quality residential repairs, carpentry, decorating, plumbing, and general maintenance works.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced plumbing\-biased Multi\-Trade Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a full\-time self\-employed basis.

This role would suit somebody with a strong plumbing and general maintenance background who is also confident with carpentry, second\-fix works, and general residential repairs.

Our work is mainly within premium domestic properties and property management portfolios across South West and West London. Attention to detail, professionalism, reliability, and customer communication are extremely important to us.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance


• Tap repairs and replacements


• Toilet repairs, flush valves, fill valves and cistern repairs


• Waste pipe repairs and replacements


• Leak investigation and minor leak repairs


• Radiator valve replacements and small heating\-related works, excluding gas works


• Silicone and sealant repairs around baths, showers and kitchens


• General residential maintenance works


• Second\-fix carpentry


• Door repairs, adjustments and installations


• Small boxing\-in works and access panels


• Kitchen and bathroom maintenance repairs


• Working independently across multiple jobs per day


• Providing clear updates, photos and job reports


• Maintaining high presentation and workmanship standards

RequirementsEssential

• Strong plumbing maintenance experience


• Good general multi\-trade ability


• Competent basic carpentry skills


• Full UK manual driving licence


• Own tools


• Minimum 5 years trade experience


• Experience working in occupied residential properties


• High attention to detail


• Strong customer communication skills


• Reliable, organised and professional


• Ability to work independently


• Ability to travel across South West and West London


• Good spoken English

Desirable

• Carpentry background


• Experience with doors, locks, boxing\-in and second\-fix works


• Painting and decorating ability


• Tiling repair experience


• Property maintenance experience


• Experience working for landlords, letting agents or property managers


• Ability to problem\-solve independently on site

Pay: £40\.00\-£60\.00 per hour
