Job Title: Plant Engineer (PPM \& Calibration)
Reporting to: Senior Plant Engineer

Supervisory Responsibility: N/A
JOB PURPOSE
To ensure the maintenance and development of Dunlop UK Manufacturing Facilities and to manage PPM schedule adherence, instrument and process tooling calibration requirements and insurance system compliance. To manage all on\-site inspection and condition monitoring contracts and services.
To ensure internal and external PPM and calibration audit compliance
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure health, safety and environmental legal and policy requirements are complied with in all areas of influence.
- Manage all UK Manufacturing instrument and process tooling calibration contracts and maintain calibration database alongside calibration contractor.
- Manage all UK Manufacturing condition monitoring contracts and maintain CM database alongside CM contractor.
- Manage all UK Manufacturing insurance inspection contracts and maintain certification systems alongside insurance provider inspection services.
- To manage both internal and external PPM and calibration audit compliance
- Develop program to improve calibration and CM contract values.
- Develop synergies between sites and best practices between group plants (DATL, DATI and DTATL).
- Ensure legislative and insurance compliance; liaise with all insurers for inspection schedules.
- Establish KPI’s for reporting progress and effectively communicate these.
- Participate in site CIS and TPM activities.
- Benchmark against other organisations for best practice
- Source materials and resources, raise purchase requisitions and manage the procurement and booking in processes for these PRINCIPAL MEASURABLES
- Compliance to internal and external audits
- Calibration requirements at 100% without deviation
- Adherence to legislative requirements for Lifting Equipment. LEV

Recognised qualification in Lifting Equipment Inspection

High Voltage Authorised Person
