Planning Consultant

Roger Parry \& Partners have an excellent opportunity for a qualified Planning Consultant to join our busy planning team at our Head Office in Bicton . As a Planning Consultant at Roger Parry \& Partners you will be working alongside the planning consultants in the firm and will be involved with a range of projects including rural and urban.

• Be able to prepare and submit planning applications , and appeals .


• Collecting, analysing and recording data on the progress of planning permission applications


• Checking and researching legislation and laws relevant to planning


• Writing up reports for both internal and external publications


• Attending and taking minutes of meetings


• Negotiating amendments to proposed plans


• Preparing, revising and reading maps and technical drawings


• Checking all plans and documents to ensure they meet statutory and technical requirements


• Responding to queries during planning application process and appeals where required .


• Managing planning process and liaising with planning officers, Architects and many outside consultants


• Raising invoices to clients and aged debt collecting when needed

Experience essential and will be expected to have excellent communication, telephone and IT skills and the ability to work in a fast\-paced office environment.

Full time, Monday – Friday 40 hours a week
Salary commensurate with experience
