Minerva Clinical Services is an independent pharmacy located in a modern building at the heart of the growing community of Upper Heyford in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. It is linked to Alchester Medical Group in nearby Bicester and enjoys a close working relationship with primary care. Regular GP appointments are offered in purpose built consulting rooms within the pharmacy, which also provide space for pharmacy consultations.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacist by preparing and dispensing medications, assisting with patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of pharmacy services. Duties
- Prepare and dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with pharmacy protocols
- Assist pharmacists with medication administration and ensure proper labelling and storage of pharmaceuticals
- Provide excellent patient care by answering queries, offering medication guidance, and supporting medication management
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient information in compliance with legal and organisational standards
- Support the organisation of pharmacy stock levels, including ordering and stock rotation
- Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient medication plans and support overall care delivery
- Proven pharmacy technician experience and GPhC registration for the role
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy
- Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on confidentiality and professionalism
Pay: £24,420\.00\-£32,000\.00 per year
