The role

Leading the Pharmacy department, you’ll help develop all Pharmacy services available at the hospital, driving innovation and improvement in one of the UK’s leading independent healthcare providers. Where you’ll be based
West Midlands Hospital is one of the West Midland's leading private hospitals set in 3\.5 acres of pleasant grounds at Colman Hill, Halesowen, ten miles from Birmingham City Centre. Operating since 1988 the hospital has 29 private bedrooms, all with en\-suite facilities.
By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. We have two theatres one with Lamina flow, and cover a wide range of surgical specialities; these include Orthopaedics, General surgery, Gynaecology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Cosmetic and urology. We also have a separate endoscopy suite.
In September 2020, we opened Stourside Hospital, a designated off\-site ambulatory care unit with an operating theatre and two recovery bays with also a Ward area, minor ops unit in the Outpatients Department, Pre Assessment Unit, Xray and Physiotherapy facilities. Located less than 5 miles from the West Midlands hospital to enable us to offer more services to our patients. Stourside is an integral part of the wider West Midlands Hospital strategic plan and this role is key to ensure the success of our multi\-site business.
What you’ll bring with you
- Current registration as a Pharmacist with the GPhC \- General Pharmaceutical Council
- Clinical Diploma or equivalent clinical pharmacist experience
- Experience in a management role, carrying out staff appraisal, development and training
- Familiarity with electronic stock control systems
- Policy, procedure and/or guideline development experience
- Audit and data analysis experience
- Budgetary and Change management experience (desirable)
