We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a HR \& Recruitment Apprentice to join our Group HR Team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition while gaining a recognised qualification and valuable hands\-on experience across the employee lifecycle.

About the Role

The HR \& Recruitment Apprentice will have the opportunity to develop and learn across two core areas to include HR Generalist and Talent Acquisition.

The role will provide a foundation in HR generalist activities that support the employee lifecycle such as updating our HR systems with things like new starter and leaver records as well as monitoring key dates and changes across employee information, absence management and performance management.

This will lead nicely into the Talent Acquisition activities from learning how to write a job advert, candidate attraction, sourcing, assessment and selection and the onboarding of candidates.

You will lead on onboarding activities which typically include; Right to Work checks, issuing of employment contracts and referencing activities.

There will also be the opportunity to get involved with process improvement projects and supporting the apprenticeship team as an ambassador!

Learning both areas will provide an excellent foundation in HR practices, employment law and recruitment processes.

Following successful completion of the apprenticeship, this role is expected to move permanently into the Talent Acquisition Team as a Talent Acquisition Administrator.

• HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship.


• Typical duration of 18 months


• Study and coursework completed during working hours.


• Dedicated support from a training provider, your manager \& Early Careers Team

• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above.


• Good verbal and written communication skills.


• Strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.


• A genuine interest in Human Resources and Recruitment.

• A recognised HR Support Level 3 qualification.


• Experience across both HR Operations and Talent Acquisition.


• A strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice.


• Hands\-on experience with HR and recruitment systems including Cascade and Talos.


• Exposure to recruitment campaigns, candidate attraction and onboarding processes.


• Ongoing coaching and mentoring from experienced HR and Talent Acquisition professionals.


• A clear career pathway into Talent Acquisition Administration and future Talent Acquisition Advisor opportunities.
