Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant/technician
Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant
Experience preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
\- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing customer service
\- Maintain inventory and stock medications
\- Prepare prescription labels and packages for patients
\- Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries
\- Process insurance claims and handle billing procedures
\- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
\- High school diploma or equivalent
\- Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant or technician preferred
\- Knowledge of medication administration and pharmacy operations
\- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
\- Strong communication and customer service skills
\- Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
