Pharmacy Dispenser

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting the pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

Duties

• Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.


• Provide patient care by offering advice on medication usage, potential side effects, and answering any queries patients may have.


• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


• Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and inventory management.


• Assist in the preparation of medication orders and ensure proper storage conditions for pharmaceuticals.


• Participate in training and development activities to enhance professional knowledge and skills in pharmacy practice.


• Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment to promote safety and efficiency.

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable.


• Strong understanding of medication administration protocols and patient care practices.


• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in dispensing medications.


• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.


• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in pharmacy practice.

Job Types: Full\-time, Part\-time

Pay: £12\.71\-£13\.50 per hour
