Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and supporting pharmacy operations. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with pharmacy protocols and legal requirements
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, packaging, and labelling
- Provide guidance and support to patients regarding medication usage and safety
- Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications and patient interactions
- Ensure the pharmacy environment adheres to health and safety standards
- Support inventory management by stock checking, ordering, and organising pharmaceutical supplies
- Contribute to patient care by answering queries and offering advice within scope of practice
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes
- Previous pharmacy technician experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with dispensing procedures and pharmacy software systems
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care practices is advantageous
- Experience working in a healthcare or customer service environment is beneficial
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately under pressure are essential
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach towards patients and colleagues
Pay: From £12\.71 per hour
