Buchanan and Campbell Pharmacy are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations by accurately dispensing medications, assisting with patient care, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities
- Label and dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution
- Provide guidance to patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions
- Maintain precise records of dispensed medications
- Support inventory management by stock checking and ordering stock in a cost\-effectice manner as needed
- Uphold confidentiality and privacy of patient information at all times
- Contribute to a welcoming and professional atmosphere for patients and staff
- Previous experience as a pharmacy dispenser or in a similar healthcare support role is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures is advantageous
- Strong commitment to patient care and excellent organisational skills are essential
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with patients and colleagues
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems (pharmacy manager) is beneficial but not mandatory
Pay: £12\.71\-£15\.00 per hour
