Pharmacy Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring that patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about patient care and have an interest in the pharmaceutical field.

Duties

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients.


• Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient profiles.


• Provide excellent customer service by answering queries and addressing concerns related to medications.


• Organise and manage inventory, ensuring that all pharmaceutical supplies are adequately stocked.


• Assist in the preparation of medication orders and ensure compliance with safety regulations.


• Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean and organised work environment.


• Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of pharmacy practices and medication management.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.


• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self\-motivated.


• Basic computer skills for managing pharmacy software systems.
