Pharmacist Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Locum Pharmacist to join our busy community pharmacy on a full\-time basis. The ideal candidate will be confident, patient\-focused, and capable of delivering a wide range of NHS and private services while ensuring safe and efficient day\-to\-day pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently


• Performing clinical and legal checks in line with GPhC standards


• Providing expert advice on medicines, minor ailments, and general health concerns


• Supervising and supporting pharmacy staff, including dispensers and counter assistants


• Managing workflow to ensure timely and safe service delivery


• Maintaining accurate patient medication records using TITAN PMR


• Ensuring compliance with all SOPs, legal, and regulatory requirements


• Stock management, ordering, and handling shortages

The successful candidate must be actively involved in delivering a range of services, including:

• Vaccination services (e.g.Travel, Flu and COVID\-19 vaccinations)


• Blood pressure checks and health screenings


• Smoking cessation programs


• Emergency hormonal contraception (EHC)


• Minor ailments consultations


• New Medicine Service (NMS)


• Pharmacy First


• NHS and private services as required

• GPhC registered Pharmacist


• Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting


• Strong working knowledge of TITAN PMR system


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Commitment to high standards of patient care

• Experience delivering a wide range of pharmacy services


• Strong organisational and time management skills


• Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment
