Job Overview
RE:Solve is a dynamic and inclusive alternative provision provider dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs, SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), or those at risk of exclusion. Operating across multiple locations, RE:Solve offers safe, supportive, and personalised learning environments for children and young people who require more than mainstream education can offer.

We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we work in close partnership with schools, families, and local authorities to provide high\-impact, trauma\-informed interventions. Our approach focuses on building trust, promoting engagement, and developing academic, emotional, and social resilience to help learners reintegrate successfully into education or employment pathways.

As we grow, we are committed to building a highly skilled, compassionate, and professional team who share our values of care, consistency, and high expectations. The following job descriptions outline the key roles within our provision and the impact you could make as part of our mission.

Your presence will help de\-escalate challenging situations, promote self\-regulation, and create a safe, therapeutic environment where pupils can thrive. This is a term time only role \& your salary will be pro rata across 40 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour support during lessons, transitions, and unstructured times.

  • Build consistent, positive relationships with pupils, modelling appropriate behaviours and boundaries.

  • Record and report behaviour incidents and support planning with wider staff team.

  • Support classroom staff by promoting a calm, purposeful environment for learning.

  • Liaise with families, therapists, and external professionals as part of wider support plans.

  • Attend safeguarding and behaviour briefings, and contribute to team debriefs and solution\-focused planning.

  • Experience working with children and young people in an SEMH, AP, or similar setting.

  • Training in behaviour management (e.g. Team Teach, MAPA, or similar).
