Pharmaceutical Production Operator

Chemco Pharmacy are now recruiting for a General Operative to work in their Celbridge store. This full time role is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to be part of a motivating team of busy professionals. This role requires flexibility working 5 days over a 6 day rota from Monday to Saturday.
- De\-blistering medication in prescription for bulk dispensing.
- Book and dispatch orders for delivery using on\-site driver and external courier.
- Manual work as well as machine work.
- Processing requests and supply orders, pulling stock, packing boxes and placing orders.
- Maintain stock inventory controls by ensuring optimum stock levels at all times.
- Responsible for stock received into pharmacy inventory.
- Ensure equipment is properly stocked at all times.
- Organisation of medication on shelves.
- Book and dispatch orders for delivery using on\-site drivers and external couriers.
- Receive and process orders and returns, managing credit requests if necessary.
- Maintain automation equipment by troubleshooting and contacting customer support.
- Monitor station queues.
- Accountable for meeting daily pharmacy duties to make certain of timely delivery to patients.
- Demonstrate superior verbal and written skills to communicate with internal counterparts to resolve patient issues.
- Maintain a high level of quality assurance for medication dispensing.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, floor area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- To be considered for this position, candidate would ideally have a minimum of 1 years of experience working in similar regulated environment (Factory/Manufacturing).
- Ideally have familiarity with automated equipment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of team.
- Self\-motivated with strong work ethic and ability to work with minimum direction.
- Good numerical skills and strong attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills, with energy and “can\-do” attitude.
- Strong IT skills with working knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Flexible and available for overtime as required to support business needs.
