Full Job Description

We are looking for a new Claims Handler who will work on the OIC and MOJ Portal system handling claims. You will manage a caseload of small track and Fast Track Portal cases through all stages of the Portal.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Fast Track Personal Injury Portal Claims ON THE MOJ portal


• To handle inbound new claim, take pertinent details to commence a claim, give advice and provide empathy to often badly injured clients.


• To progress your case load to ensure that clients receive professional, timely legal advice.


• To achieve and exceed various targets set by the firm


• To liaise with third parties such as, medical agencies, experts, third party insurers and other relevant parties to ensure that cases are pro\-actively progressed.

About you:

Ideally, the successful candidate will come from a background of dealing with handling motor claims and personal injury matters but any claims handling experience, especially in civil litigation will be considered.

Daily duties will include:.

• Assess liability and quantum to include reviewing medical reports and researching and obtaining relevant case law.


• Drafting schedules of special damages and assessing suitable awards for compensation for pain, suffering and loss of amenity, and other general damages.
