Personal Carer / Children's Home Support Worker
Job Overview
We are looking for a caring, reliable and patient individual to support our special need child (under 10 years old). The role involves providing personal care, engaging in play activities and ensuring her safety and wellbeing at all times.
The position is paid and requires a commitment to delivering high\-quality home care tailored to the child's individual needs.
\*\*Key Responsibilities:\*\*
\* Assist with personal care (e.g. hygiene, dressing, toileting if required)
\* Supervise and engage in age\-appropriate play and activities
\* Provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment
\* Support daily routines
\* Help with light household tasks, including cleaning and meal preparation
\*\*Requirements:\*\*
\* Experience working with children (ideally with additional needs, if applicable)
\* Good hygiene and understanding of personal care standards
\* Kind, patient, and trustworthy
\* Ability to build a positive relationship with a child
\*\*Additional Information:\*\*
\* Due to the nature of the role involving personal care for a young child, there is a preference for a female carer in order to ensure comfort and dignity.
\* Require a DBS and references which will be checked.
