Permanent Timetable Delivery Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to join \#TeamEMR as a Permanent Timetable Delivery Manager based at Derby.
Main Duties of the role:
- Lead direct reports, ensuring objectives and deliverables within the accountability of the (Permanent) Timetable \& Resource Planners are delivered to agreed timescales, cost, and quality, and through the required management competencies and business values.
- To ensure the compliance of the permanent timetable at all stages of the timetable development process; through collaborating within meetings and forums, including Timetable Development Working Group, Timetable Strategy Group and Timetable Readiness Group.
- To support on the development of business case opportunities for timetable initiatives which deliver sustainable, efficient, resilient, and compliant high performing, compliant, accurate, efficient and revenue generative timetables and train plans.
- To lead the delivery of the permanent timetable rolling stock and train crew diagrams which comply with operating rules, trade union agreements and constraints within agreed timescales.
- Leading regular meetings throughout the timetable development processes, to represent EMR and ensure the timetable offer is reflective of the agreed timetable scope.
- Confirm with the Network Regulatory Access Manager that EMR has the required track access rights to operate its permanent timetable plans in accordance with the Network Code.
- To lead and deliver projects successfully within the Annual Business Plan with other functions and stakeholders which are set to achieve the optimum operating timetable plan for EMR.
- To lead the relationship with the Amended Planning team and the Timetable Information team to enable the handover of the permanent timetable into the amending planning and passenger information publication processes.
- Lead the review process to monitor the performance and effectiveness of the permanent timetable once this is implemented.
- Lead the management of the Operational Planning Rules process"
- A passion for people and stakeholder management
- Demonstrable experience of train planning is prefered
- Computer literacy required in common applications such as Word and Excel
- Ability to comprehend and take cognisance of EMR’s wider business strategies.
- General knowledge of East Midlands railway geography, the train services and rolling stock operated by EMR
- Excellent communicator and team player
- Willingness to travel in order to maintain excellent working relationships and communications with Network Rail and other TOCs

This might be undertaking safety critical work, for which you'll receive training, but it could just be helping out with Customer Service when our stations are busy.
