We provide care for adults and children with all care needs including complex health conditions and are rated by CQC as “Outstanding”.
The children:
We care for multiple children with complex medical conditions within Ilkeston, Long Eaton, Swadlincote, Melbourne, Derby and Derbyshire. We provide care during the daytime or night time at home, or at school depending on the client. We do not do short calls; you will spend long hours with the client and will get to know them and their family well.
Our children have specific medical and educational needs and therefore require confident, friendly and caring staff to look after them.
The role:
We are looking for reliable and dedicated individuals to provide a high standard of complex care and to support our children and their families.
You will be supporting a young child with their personal care needs, moving and handling, and any clinical interventions such as oral suctioning, PEG feeding, seizure management, ventilation and oxygen administration.
Your role may involve monitoring the child during the night time so their families can rest, caring for them in the daytime, or assisting the child at school depending on the client and your availability. WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR WAKING NIGHT STAFF WITH POTENTIAL TO PICK UP DAY SHIFTS ONCE TRAINED.
We have a range of shift patterns and hours available.
Essential experience required:
- 12 months care experience
- Ideally have previous experience of working with children and/or young adults with complex health needs
- Driving license and own vehicle is essential
- Suctioning
- Oxygen Administration
- Chest Management
- Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
- Long term ventilation
- Tracheostomy care
- Seizure management

Job Types: Full\-time, Part\-time
Pay: From £13\.35 per hour
