Pension Administrator
The Customer Services Representative will be responsible for processing and administering all Ex\-FIL Section 32 policies on the Sonata Wealth platform, ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations, and Scottish Friendly processes and procedures. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional service to customers and supporting their retirement journey.
Key responsibilities
· Process all servicing requests for Section 32 products, including: Change of details, Change of income, IFA requests, Account suspensions
· Prepare and process regulatory and ad\-hoc customer wake\-up packs as part of the retirement journey.
· Handle all “Money Out” transactions for accumulation accounts including: UFPLS, Partial UFPLS, Small Pots, Stand alone Lump Sum \- some of which have Protected Tax Free Cash.
· Transfers to receiving schemes \- both via Origo and Paper based
· Manage bereavement cases with sensitivity and accuracy.
· Administer flexible drawdown processes, including: Full, partial, and phased crystallisations
· Setting up regular or ad\-hoc income requests
· Beneficiary drawdown upon death
· Provide general servicing of drawdown policies, including pre\-sale illustrations and reviews.
· Ensure accurate and timely processing of all tasks.
· Collaborate within the team to deliver key development tasks and projects.
· Act as a source of product knowledge for other departments, particularly on Flexible Drawdown.
· Engage with colleagues across the business to gather requirements for new and existing projects.
· Manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
· Maintain high attention to detail in all activities.
Qualifications and skills
· Strong knowledge of pension schemes, Section 32 products, and flexible drawdown requirements.
· Experience with PAYE tax requirements and payroll processes.
· Proven experience in administering pension and drawdown policies.
· Technical understanding of pension and drawdown rules and regulatory requirements.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Ability to adapt to a changing environment and take on new tasks.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage personal workload.
· Comfortable challenging and improving existing processes and developing new ones.
· Analytical skills to examine information and identify key details.

Pay: £24,500\.00\-£27,000\.00 per year
