We are currently looking for a Pre\-delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician to join our team, reporting into the Workshop you will be working as part of a large team responsible for preparation of new vehicles to several of our large fleet contracts.
More about the role
As a PDI Technician you will responsible for ensuring the customer can take delivery of their new vehicles and that delivery dates are achieved.
- Liaising with the Workshop Manager about jobs
- Checking vehicle safety features
- Ensuring vehicles are correctly fuelled
- Tyre pressure checks
- Completion of all PDI paperwork/checklists
- Vehicle test drivers
- Oil/brake fluid/washer fluid checks/top\-ups
- Number plate fitting
- Moving cars around the compound
More about you
- For this role we will consider candidates that have previous experience working with vehicles, this maybe from an independent garage or a franchised retailer.
- It’s important you enjoy working as part of a team and that you are process driven in your approach.

From Birmingham in the South to Carlisle in the North we partner with eleven brands including; Audi, Volkswagen, Land Rover, Honda and many more.
We’re expanding our own\-brand, Motor Match our used sites, and we don’t stop at dealerships; we operate four Volkswagen Group Trade Part Centres, an Accident Repair Centre, a Group Fleet Sales Centre and an eBay shop re\-cycling obsolete parts. All this is supported by our Head Office in Crewe.
