About the role
Keltic Traffic Management Ltd is looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Payroll \& Operations Administrator professional to join our growing team at our main office in West Drayton.
This is a busy and varied role supporting the day\-to\-day administration of a workforce of more than 200 employees and workers.
You will play an important part in ensuring timesheets, overtime, payroll information and internal records are accurate and up to date, while also supporting the wider operational team with general administration.
Previous payroll experience would be beneficial, but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Key responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Checking and processing timesheets and overtime accurately for company and agency workers
- Preparing and checking payroll information to ensure employee, worker and self\-employed contractor records are accurate and complete
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies before payroll is processed
- Maintaining internal records, trackers and spreadsheets to a high standard
- Reviewing and processing expenses, refunds and other employee\-related administration
- Managing and processing holiday requests
- Reviewing, challenging or arranging payment of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) where required
- Liaising with employees, managers, agencies and other departments to resolve payroll and administrative queries
- Supporting the Operations team with general day\-to\-day administrative duties
- Using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
- Carrying out other reasonable administrative duties as required

- Comfortable working in a busy, fast\-paced environment
- Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Comfortable working with numbers and checking information for accuracy
- Proactive, practical and willing to take ownership of tasks
- Positive, approachable and willing to learn
