Job Summary

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive Payroll \& Finance Data Admin to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the payroll function and assisting with the organisation's financial operations. This position involves timesheet data entry \& review, vehicle tracker investigations, and sales invoicing.

Duties

  • Preparation \& distribution of 200\+ timesheets.

  • Timesheet data entry \& review.

  • Timesheet \& vehicle tracker investigations.

  • Management of engineer timesheet queries.

  • Assist in processing of sales invoices.

  • Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.

  • Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding customer invoicing queries.

  • Maintain accurate accounts receivable files and records.

  • Customer account reconciliation.

  • Prepare and send out statements, reminders, and cash collection documentation to clients.

  • Monitoring customer accounts to ensure timely payment is made.

  • Provide assistance to the accounts payable function as and when required

  • Ad hoc administrative duties as required.
Experience
  • Previous experience in a data entry or finance\-related role is preferred.

  • Proficient Excel skills, i.e., spreadsheet management and basic formulas, are highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in accounting software is preferred.

  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and external stakeholders.
Working hours are 37\.5 per week, plus a 30\-minute unpaid lunch break, Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 17:00\. Typical shift patterns are 08:00 \- 16:00 and 09:00 \- 17:00\.

22 days per year annual leave entitlement \+ UK bank holidays.
