PAT Testing Technician

Working for a well\-established family\-run specialist PAT Testing company based in Atherton, Lancashire. you will be inspecting and testing clients’ electrical equipment. Engineers will work from home, so can be based anywhere in the UK as we have customers all around .Sometimes working on your own, you will also be required to work with other technicians. Work start times vary and travelling will be required. Full training will be given.

Ideally Looking for a Engineer based around the UK ideally you are willing to Travel.

Your own vehicle, City \& Guilds 2377 (PAT testing) qualification or we can train. Previous experience of PAT Testing in commercial and industrial environments are a bonus or training available for the right person.

Main duties and responsibilities: To carry out the testing and inspection of portable appliances within commercial premises such as offices, schools, care homes , Council properties , Hospitals etc ,and other commercial properties in accordance with the "Code of Practice for In\-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment”.To carry out the testing and inspection of portable appliances within commercial premises such as offices, schools, care homes and other commercial properties in accordance with the "Code of Practice for In\-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment”.To carry out the testing and inspection of portable appliances within commercial premises such as offices, schools, care homes and other commercial properties in accordance with the "Code of Practice for In\-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment”.

General Duties:

• Liaising with clients on a daily basis


• Completion of paperwork


• Reporting to the company's office in Atherton

Essential Qualifications:

• City and Guilds 2377 \- PAT Testing or Training available


• A full driving licence

Experience:

• Testing of portable appliances in commercial and industrial properties.

Employment will be subject to satisfactory CRB/DBS disclosure (paid for by the company).
