Relevent Football Partners (RFP) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Relevent, purpose\-built to commercialise
the UEFA men’s club competitions globally. An independent entity, RFP is tasked with providing UC3 \- the joint venture between UEFA and the European Football Clubs (EFC) \- strategic and sales support in the worldwide marketing and sale of media, sponsorship, and licensing rights for the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Youth League, and the UEFA Futsal Champions League.
Following the UC3 tender process, Relevent Football Partners was awarded the commercial rights to the UEFA men’s club competitions (Champions League, Europa League and Conference League) on a global basis for the 2027 to 2033 cycle.
As such, Relevent Football Partners is now seeking to build a truly world class business focused on the monetisation of these commercial rights.
Position Summary
The Partnerships Manager will play a key role in delivering best\-in\-class servicing and activation for UC3’s global sponsorship portfolio across the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Europa Conference League. Acting as a trusted advisor to partners, this role ensures contracted rights are executed to the highest standard, enabling partners to achieve their brand and business objectives through innovative, multi\-channel activations.
Working closely with the Global Partnerships Lead, the Partnerships Manager will champion a client centric approach, foster strong stakeholder relationships, and contribute to the creation of long\-term value for UC3 and its partners
Key Responsibilities
Deliver world\-class partnership servicing and activation across assigned partner accounts,
ensuring all rights are fulfilled and measured against partner objectives
- Support the Global Partnerships Lead with day\-to\-day operations and client servicing
- Act as a trusted advisor to partners, providing guidance on rights usage and activation to maximise value and impact for partners
- Identify best\-in\-class processes and experiences to support the growth of the partnership offering
- Build strong, positive working relationships with partners and key stakeholders to support longterm collaboration
- Lead regular partner meetings, ensuring clear communication, performance tracking, and actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver successful operational, insight\-led integrated partnerships aligned with partner objectives.
- Maintain a solution\-focused approach in fast\-paced or high\-pressure situations.
- Mentor and manage and support the Partnerships Executive, supporting them to grow within the partnerships team while fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration
- Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to being an effective team player
- Proven experience managing and activating partnerships within the sports and/or entertainment industry
- Strong relationship management skills, with experience acting as a trusted partner to major brands
- Highly proactive approach to account management, with the ability to identify challenges and propose solutions
- Familiarity with rights\-holder processes and governance
- Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced, multi\-stakeholder environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organisational, time management, and planning skills
- High proficiency across Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent English required; additional languages an advantage
