Job Title: Part\-Time Male Support Worker – Supported Living
Location: Romsley, Halesowen
Hours: Part\-Time (20 Hours per week)
Salary: Up to £12\.82 per hour \+ £67\.50 per sleep\-in

We are looking for a dedicated male Support Worker to join our team in Romsley, Halesowen on a part\-time basis (20 hours per week).In this role, you will provide day\-to\-day support to an individual within their own home and out in the community, helping them maintain their independence, choice, and control over their life.The hours for this role are predominantly evenings and weekends. The shift patterns include:
- Weekdays: Shifts start at 3:00 PM onwards (ideal for evening care routines)
- Weekends \& Bank Holidays: A variety of shifts across the day and evening
- Sleep\-ins: Required as part of the rota (paid at an additional £67\.50 per night)
- Develop Independent Living Skills: Assist with cooking healthy meals, domestic cleaning, and laundry.
- Community Engagement: Accompany them to access the local community in Romsley and the wider Halesowen area, attend social activities, and manage grocery shopping.
- Cultural Needs: Ensure individual cultural, emotional, and spiritual needs are fully met and celebrated.
- Administration: Maintain accurate, person\-centred record\-keeping and log daily progress notes.
- Qualifications: A Level 2, 3, or 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
- Experience: Prior experience working within the care or supported living sector.
- Key Attributes: A positive "can\-do" attitude, excellent boundaries, and a genuine passion for promoting independence in social care.
- Education: GCSE or equivalent is preferred.
- Competitive pay of up to £12\.82 per hour.
- Sleep\-ins compensated at £67\.50 per night.
- Generous mileage allowance of 45p per mile (where applicable).
