Part-Time Social Media & Content Creator

FreshMex is looking for a creative and driven Social Media \& Content Creator to help grow our brand presence across Scotland.

This is a part\-time role based in Edinburgh, ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, enjoys creating engaging content, and understands how great content can drive real business results.

About the Role

You will be responsible for creating, managing, and growing FreshMex's social media presence across our restaurant locations. Working independently while reporting directly to senior management, you will develop content that increases brand awareness, customer engagement, in\-store visits, and delivery sales.

The successful candidate will regularly visit our restaurants to capture content and will be required to travel to Glasgow and Aberdeen on a monthly basis (travel expenses covered by the company).

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging social media content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant platforms


• Capture high\-quality photography and videography from our restaurant locations


• Plan and execute creative content campaigns that drive customer engagement


• Grow both in\-store and delivery sales through effective social media marketing


• Monitor social media performance and provide regular reports to senior management


• Stay ahead of social media trends and identify new opportunities for FreshMex


• Work independently to manage content calendars and posting schedules

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Demonstrates strong creative flair and can generate fresh content ideas


• Is confident with photography and videography, including filming and editing content for social media


• Has previous experience in a social media role or a genuine passion for social media and creative content creation


• Is comfortable appearing on camera when required and confident creating engaging, personality\-led content for social media platforms


• Can work independently, manage their own workload, and communicate effectively with senior management


• Is based in Edinburgh and willing to travel monthly to Glasgow and Aberdeen


• Understands how social media can influence customer behaviour and drive sales


• Has excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
