Personal Care Assistant (Ref: DP/VT08\)

Location: Great Sankey, Warrington
Pay Rate: £13\.45 per hour
Hours: 4 hours per week
Preferred Working Time: Weekend, afternoons

About the Role

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and experienced Personal Care Assistant to support an 8\-year\-old boy with complex needs.

The child is non\-verbal and has autism spectrum disorder and Global Developmental Delay. He also has additional physical and sensory needs, including hearing loss and musculoskeletal conditions.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting him with personal care, daily routines, and safe, enjoyable outings in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing personal care, including changing nappies and assisting with dressing/undressing


• Supporting the child during outings and activities in the community


• Encouraging participation in leisure activities such as parks and soft play


• Ensuring the child’s safety, wellbeing, and comfort at all times

About You

• Experience in a similar care or support role is essential


• Patient, compassionate, and dependable


• Full UK driving licence required


• Access to your own vehicle with business insurance

Additional Information

• Permanent position


• Enhanced DBS check required (provided free of charge)


• A probationary period will apply
