We are seeking to appoint a proactive and personable Operations Manager to support the day to day running of the club and help deliver an excellent experience for members and visitors alike.
This is a varied role combining administration, coordination and front of house responsibilities, working closely with the Management Committee to support the smooth operation of the club.
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Operation Manager/Administrator to support our daily business functions. This role involves overseeing administrative tasks, managing team activities, and ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and communication skills, with experience in office management and basic financial software. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to a dynamic team while developing their managerial and administrative expertise.
Responsibilities
- · Supporting the day\-to\-day operations of the club
· Assisting with the coordination and implementation of Management Committee initiatives
· Overseeing front of house activity and member interaction
· Supporting booking systems and club administration, including BRS where applicable
· Helping maintain a welcoming and professional club environment
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate effective communication.
- Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and oversee administrative processes.
- Good human resources knowledge including staff onboarding and record keeping.
- Professional phone etiquette with a friendly yet professional demeanour.
- Ability to work independently on a part\-time basis with flexibility around scheduling commitments. This role offers an engaging environment for proactive individuals eager to contribute their organisational talents while supporting our operational success.
· Experience within a golf club, hospitality or member focused environment
· Experience using BRS or similar booking systems
· Knowledge of good governance practices
Pay: £21,000\.00\-£26,000\.00 per year
