Part\-Time Business Development \& Sales Executive

£14\.50 per hour \+ performance\-related bonuses \| 25 hours per week \| Monday–Friday
9:30am–2:30pm, with some flexibility \| Based in Gloucester

We’re a growing catering business looking for a confident, commercially minded and experienced sales professional to join our team.

Working closely with our Business \& Sales Director, you’ll help identify new opportunities, build strong relationships and bring new business into the company.

This is a hands\-on sales role, so you’ll need to be comfortable taking the initiative, speaking to new customers and actively developing opportunities from the first conversation through to conversion.

The role will include:

• Identifying and contacting new B2B customers by phone and email.


• Developing new business opportunities across buffets, events and catering.


• Building relationships with new wedding venues and developing venue partnerships.


• Identifying quality opportunities, particularly within schools, for our Business \& Sales Director.


• Managing follow\-ups and progressing leads through the sales process.


• Developing new sales ideas, promotions and opportunities.


• Supporting our wider marketing and social media activity.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous sales, business development or account management experience.


• Is confident speaking to new people and building relationships.


• Is commercially aware and understands what makes a good sales opportunity.


• Is proactive, organised and good at following things through.


• Is comfortable making calls, having conversations and opening new doors.


• Has the confidence to put forward ideas and the drive to turn them into results.


• Enjoys working towards targets and seeing the results of their work.

This is a varied role with plenty of opportunity to make your mark and have the freedom to develop your own ideas and approach to generating new business.

£14\.50 per hour \+ performance\-related bonuses.
