Paramedic

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic to provide urgent medical care and support in emergency situations. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high\-quality patient care, ensuring safety during transportation, and collaborating effectively with healthcare teams. Duties

• Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess the medical needs of patients at the scene.


• Provide advanced life support, including airway management, CPR, and defibrillation.


• Administer injections, medications, and other treatments following established protocols.


• Conduct thorough physical examinations and vital sign assessments.


• Utilise comprehensive knowledge of physiology and anatomy to inform patient care decisions.


• Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection.


• Document patient information accurately and comprehensively in accordance with legal and organisational standards.


• Safely operate emergency vehicles, ensuring timely arrival at healthcare facilities while adhering to road safety regulations.


• Assist with triage in mass casualty incidents or high\-pressure situations.


• Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move patients or equipment safely.


• Ensure all medical equipment is properly maintained, sterilised, and ready for use at all times.

• Valid registration as a Paramedic with recognised healthcare authorities.


• Proven experience in critical care settings or hospital environments is highly desirable.


• Demonstrated proficiency in basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS).


• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy.


• Experience with medication administration and injection techniques.


• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control procedures.


• Excellent patient care skills combined with the ability to remain calm under pressure.


• Valid driving licence suitable for operating emergency vehicles safely.


• Physical fitness capable of handling physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
