Painter and Decorator
Peak Edge Hotel is a privately owned, luxury boutique hotel nestled on the edge of Derbyshire’s Peak District National Park. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with farm\-to\-fork ethos, the hotel is accessible and only a 10\-minute drive from Chesterfield town centre and our sister venue, Casa Hotel.
The hotel has recently undergone beautiful renovations to our restaurant and extensions to our banqueting rooms and we continue to invest to make sure this stunning hotel provides a laid\-back, home\-from\-home for all our guests and visitors.
*We are now on the lookout for a painter and decorator to assist in the upkeep of the hotel unit and potential handyperson duties as needed on\-site.*
Duties will include:
· All prep work including preparing surfaces; cleaning, scraping, sanding, and filling holes/cracks.
· The effective use of protective clothing and equipment.
· Applying paint/ varnish ensuring a smooth finish and even application.
· Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
· Assisting the maintenance manager in the upkeep of general repairs internal and external
· Adherence to H\&S policy
· Weekends may be required
Our ideal candidate:
· Previous experience essential.
· Excellent time\-keeping.
· Organisational skills
· Problem solving skills.
· A keen eye and attention to detail.
· Pro\-active, self\-starter
· Driver’s licence preferred but not essential

Pay: £27,000\.00\-£28,000\.00 per hour
