Step into a role where precision, pace and ownership genuinely matter. We’re looking for a highly organised, commercially sharp and hands on manager to take charge of the entire downstream process turning finished products into flawless, customer ready orders.
This is the engine room of operations. You’ll be the person who keeps everything moving: packaging, components, external finishing, stock, quality and dispatch. If you thrive on juggling multiple priorities, solving problems fast and leading from the front, this role will energise you.
What You’ll Drive
- Packing \& Dispatch: Lead the daily operation, plan workloads, motivate the team and ensure every order is packed perfectly and dispatched on time.
- External Suppliers: Own relationships with subcontractors .Track products end to end, chase lead times and resolve issues before they become delays.
- Packaging \& Components: Control all packaging and customer specific materials. Keep stock lean, accurate and always available.
- Stock Control: Maintain tight records, run regular counts, investigate discrepancies and keep storage areas organised and secure.
- Cross‑Functional Coordination: Work closely with Production and Programme teams to forecast needs, flag risks early and keep delivery performance rock‑solid.
- Quality \& Compliance: Protect presentation standards, support audits and ensure secure handling of high value products.

- Experience in manufacturing, packing, fulfilment or warehousing
- Supplier or subcontractor management experience
- Strong organisation and planning skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple programmes at pace
- ERP/MRP or stock system experience
- Hands on leadership of small operational teams
- Commercial awareness and problem‑solving ability
Proactive, calm under pressure, detail obsessed and accountable. You take ownership, communicate clearly and lead from the front. You understand that presentation, accuracy and timing define the customer experience and you make sure nothing slips.
Salary \& Benefits
£40,000 \- £42,000 per annum
2:30pm finish on a Friday
