Packaging Coordinator \- Home Textiles
Part\-Time \| Up to 26 hours per week \| Flexible working pattern
Come and join our team!
We’re looking for a Packaging Coordinator to join our friendly Product Development team and play an important part in the delivery of retail\-ready products.
We’re a growing textile business based in the Cheshire area, specialising in the design and supply of products across Bedroom, Living Room and wider Home. We work with some of the UK’s leading retailers, developing products from the initial idea right through to the finished product arriving in store.
You’ll be joining a busy and collaborative team, working closely with our Designers, Product Development team, photography studio, overseas manufacturing partners and retail customers. It’s a varied role where organisation, attention to detail and a real pride in getting things right are key.
About the Role
As a Packaging Coordinator, you'll be responsible for producing accurate, high\-quality retail packaging artwork using customer\-supplied templates, retailer specifications and brand guidelines.
You'll play an important role in ensuring packaging artwork is accurate and delivered within critical path deadlines, working closely with the Product Development team, photographic studio, overseas manufacturing partners and retail customers throughout the artwork approval process.
Key Responsibilities
· Produce retail packaging artwork using customer templates and brand guidelines, accurately inputting product information, barcodes and care information.
· Thoroughly check artwork for accuracy, spelling (including foreign language copy where required) layout and technical information before customer approval.
· Manage artwork through soft proof and wet proof stages, liaising with retail customers, the Product Development team, and overseas manufacturing partners to ensure approval is achieved on time.
· Manage multiple artwork projects simultaneously, whilst meeting critical path deadlines.
- Create clear photographic briefs based on customer\-supplied trend direction, translating their requirements into styling, highlighting key product features for the photography studio.
- Research current market trends and photographic styles to develop commercially relevant briefs, where the customer has not provided specific trend or styling direction.
· Be confident using, or willing to learn, AI tools to edit and enhance product photography supplied by photography studios.
· Organise and maintain product photography libraries by customer, ensuring files are complete, well organised and easy to locate.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is organised, detail\-focused and takes pride in producing work to a high standard.
You’ll enjoy working on a number of projects at once and be someone who naturally spots the small details that others might miss. You’ll be confident working to deadlines, happy to ask questions when needed and comfortable working with our customers and suppliers.
While creativity is an advantage, this role is primarily focused on producing consistent, technically accurate artwork, rather than designing packaging from scratch.
