Bayfields Opticians \& Audiologists have now rebranded our Optical Assistant job titles so you will be joining our fabulous team as a Group Support Client Experience Advisor.
For this role, we are looking for our Group Support Client Experience Advisor to be based in our Ewell practice but to cover practices including Beckenham, Eltham, Maidstone and Oxted as and when needs arise (sickness, holidays, recruitment etc) for 5 days / 40 hours per week (Tuesday to Saturday 9am \- 5:30pm) so a car driver is essential for this role.

We have the latest diagnostic equipment, the latest technological advances in contact lenses, spectacle lenses and frames, and the latest fashions.
At Bayfields, we are passionate about the services we provide our clients so as our experienced Group Support Client Experience Advisor, we want you to greet our clients in person as they arrive in the practice, or over the phone with a smile to make them feel valued and you will listen and understand their needs before taking ownership of their query. You will work closely with your Practice Manager, Optometrists, Audiologists, Dispensing Opticians and team members to determine the best solutions for our clients and focus on our Welcome, Discover, Delight Bayfields client journey. We need an experienced Client Experience Advisor with experience of dispensing single focus lenses, multi\-focal lenses and contact lenses. We would like somebody with strong IT skills and excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to build strong relationships with your team members, peers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Full UK driving licence \& car.
Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service.
Assist customers in selecting suitable frames, lenses, and other optical products.
Experience of dispensing single focus lenses, multi\-focal lenses and contact lenses.
Schedule appointments and manage bookings.
Maintain product displays and ensure the store is tidy and presentable.
Handle administrative tasks, including processing payments and orders.

Previous experience in optical retail.

This Bayfields Opticians \& Audiologists course will take you through our client journey, an introduction to Contact Lenses, an introduction to the Eye and its Anatomy to understanding spectacle frames and lenses but most importantly giving you the opportunity to network and learn with your colleagues from other practices. You will participate in workshops that demonstrate the various types of optical screening equipment in practice and how to carry out basic repairs and adjustments. It will give you the opportunity to learn in a hands\-on environment under the guidance of our experienced managers. Additionally, you will explore the Audiology journey to understand the impact of hearing loss for our clients and the solutions we can offer.
