Optical Advisor

Eyesite Eyecare Centres are multi\-award\-winning opticians based in Coventry.

As a member of our team, you’ll ensure every customer receives a great experience when they visit our store. This means listening to their needs, explaining our offers and products, and dispensing single\-vision, bifocal, and varifocal lenses.

You’ll work in line with NHS guidelines, as well as our own high standards, providing clear advice and creating a positive impression through your polite and professional approach.

This is a full\-time position, working 5 days per week, including Saturdays.

Main responsibilities

Following initial training, your daily tasks will include:

• Helping patients choose glasses suitable for their lifestyle


• Managing clinic paperwork and practice systems


• Accurately inputting and handling data while respecting patient confidentiality


• Completing minor repairs to spectacles


• Assembling spectacle orders


• Assisting the Optometrist before and after eye examinations

• Excellent written and spoken English


• A confident and professional manner, with the ability to demonstrate care and empathy


• Customer service experience and strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone


• Ability to work flexibly and respectfully within a team, while using your own initiative when required


• Ability to travel to our other locations within Coventry when required

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent

Pay: From £24,800\.00 per year
