Operative 1-3 Work in Progress/Despatch 1-3
Job Overview:
Working 40 hours per week Monday \- Friday 08:00 \- 16:30 with a 30 minute lunch break each day.
Your will be responsible for delivery of basic operations within the defined area of work. You will report to the supervisor and deliver activities and tasks within your area consummate to your role and grade. You will be required to undertake basic training to support the efficient and effective running of Operation and undertake appropriate training on basic maintenance of machinery and technology.
Duties:
\- Manage incoming and outgoing materials using the warehouse management system
\- Handle shipping and receiving processes
\- Construct and dismantle product pallets
\- Load and unload lorries with precision and care
\- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required
\- Utilise mechanical knowledge to maintain equipment and machinery
\- Maintain a clean and organised yard and warehouse environment
\- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
\- Updating, stock, clarity, with essential paperwork
\- Feeding departments with work needed
\- Wrapping and weighing bins of work and putting into stock
\- Adhere to regime of stock rotation
\- Checking the quality and all goods passing through this area
\- Checking the quality and accuracy of products/pallets prior to despatch to improve the customer experience.

\-Coach and mentor colleagues as required to undertake operational duties to support workforce planning activity.

Qualifications:
\- Previous experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting
\- Proficient in shipping, receiving, building, loading, unloading, and heavy lifting
\- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
\- Ability to work effectively in a fast\-paced environment
\- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
