About Us
We are a feed manufacturing business committed to operational excellence, quality, safety and customer service. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Support Coordinator to join our site team and provide vital support across operations, quality, health \& safety, administration and compliance activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy and wants to play a key role in supporting a busy manufacturing operation.
The Role
Reporting to the Site Management Team, you will provide day\-to\-day administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of site activities.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Operations \& Reporting
· Maintaining production, maintenance and operational records.
· Updating stock management systems and inventory records.
· Producing daily, weekly and monthly operational reports and scorecards.
· Managing supplier, haulier and customer enquiries.
· Conducting routine finished product quality tests.
· Recording and reporting test results.
· Managing sample retention and storage systems.
· Maintaining training records, matrices and Safe Systems of Work documentation.
· Coordinating training requirements and compliance records.
· Supporting permit\-to\-work and contractor management processes.
· Providing First Aid cover (training can be provided if required).
· Managing visitor sign\-in processes.
· Maintaining PPE inventories and ordering stock.
· Filing operational and compliance documentation.
· Supporting communication and reporting across the site.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
· Has excellent organisational and administrative skills.
· Is confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
· Has strong attention to detail and enjoys working with data.
· Can manage multiple priorities and work independently.
· Has excellent communication skills.
· Is comfortable working within a manufacturing or production environment.
· Demonstrates a proactive approach to problem solving.
· Desirable
· Experience in manufacturing, food production, logistics or industrial operations.
· Experience maintaining compliance, training or health and safety records.
· First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake training).
· Knowledge of quality assurance processes.
