We combine an expertly curated edit of prestige skincare brands with an in\-house treatment suite and AI\-powered skin analysis technology. The Role
This is a shop floor\-level role at the heart of the boutique. You will own the day\-to\-day running of the store, drive retail sales, and hold the team to a high standard of performance and client experience. You will work directly with the founder and be trusted to take shifts independently on the floor.
*This role is not for someone who needs to be managed. It is for someone who walks into a room and naturally lead, can read a client, convert a sale, and run operation without being told how.*
Key Responsibilities
Sales and revenue
- Drive retail sales of skincare, beauty tools, and gift sets to meet and exceed weekly targets
- Confidently consult clients on products using genuine skincare knowledge
- Identify upsell and cross\-sell opportunities during every client interaction
- Support the AI Skin Analysis service and convert analysis results into product sales
- Track daily and weekly sales figures and report to the founder
- Open and close the store, managing all relevant procedures
- Oversee stock management, replenishment, and accurate stock counts
- Manage Shopify POS transactions, gift vouchers, and ecommerce order fulfilment
- Handle client communications professionally, including email and phone
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to a consistently high level
- Keep admin organised and up to date, including booking records via Phorest
- Take ownership of the floor when leading shifts and hold the team accountable to standards
- Set the tone for client experience, demonstrating best practice at all times
- Support the onboarding of new team members and share product knowledge
- Attend team briefings and contribute to weekly priorities
We need someone who is brilliant at sales without being pushy, has deep skincare knowledge,
thrives on hitting targets, and brings the same level of energy and commitment on day 200 as on day one.
Essential
- Proven track record in retail sales, ideally within beauty, skincare, or luxury
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of skincare ingredients, routines, and product types
- Experience with Shopify POS or a similar retail system
- Exceptionally organised with strong admin discipline
- Confident communicator who can build rapport quickly and convert it into a sale
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent. Excellent attendance record
- Target\-driven with a proactive, self\-motivated approach to work
- A natural leader who can hold a room without being asked to
- Familiarity with clean beauty or the prestige beauty market
- Experience with Phorest or clinic management systems
- Knowledge of Klaviyo, email marketing, or social content
- Previous experience in a boutique, independent retail, or luxury hospitality environment
