Salary: £14 per hour
Hours: 08:00–17:00, 5 days per week

The Role

We are looking for an Operations \& Production Manager to help run our sportswear business.

We supply team clothing and equipment to sports clubs in the UK and internationally, with a strong focus on personalised printing and embroidery.

This is a hands\-on role, in which you will manage a small team and oversee the day\-to\-day production process, making sure orders are completed accurately and on time.

Working closely with the business owner, you will be involved in the full order journey – from initial enquiry through production and personalisation, to final shipment.

The role is fast\-paced and often time\-sensitive, so we need someone who is organised, practical and comfortable taking responsibility.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous management experience


• Strong organisation and communication skills


• Basic accounting \& bookkeeping knowledge


• Basic computer skills and confidence learning new systems


• Ability to problem\-solve and adapt when things don't go to plan


• Willingness to learn new skills


• The confidence to make decisions and take ownership of tasks


• Ability to lead a team while also being prepared to get stuck in yourself

Experience That Would Be An Advantage

Experience in any of these areas would be highly beneficial:

• Textile printing or embroidery


• Vinyl cutting or graphic design software


• Working within a production line or manufacturing environment


• Shopify or e\-commerce platforms


• Sportswear, teamwear or personalised clothing

We supply personalised team clothing and equipment to sports clubs across the UK and internationally. With over 40 years of experience supplying teams in Northampton, we have built a strong reputation and long\-standing relationships with local sports clubs.

Why This Role Is Different

Although the job title is Operations \& Production Manager, this is not a traditional management position.

Working closely with the business owner, you will play an important role in the wider running of the business, helping to keep operations organised, efficient and moving forward.

In many ways, it is closer to running your own small business than simply managing a department.
