Operations Planner

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Transport Planner to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating vehicle movements, monitoring driver activity, and ensuring efficient day\-to\-day transport operations in a fast\-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily automotive logistics and vehicle schedules


• Use planning systems to manage routes and operational efficiency


• Monitor drivers and ensure schedules are followed effectively


• Maintain strong geographic knowledge to optimise routes and delivery times


• Create daily operational reports


• React quickly and effectively to changing workloads, schedules, and operational demands


• Communicate with drivers and management to resolve scheduling issues quickly


• Ensure all transport activities comply with company procedures and standards

• Previous experience in transport planning and logistics is preferred


• Standard geographic knowledge and route planning ability


• Strong organisational and communication skills


• Ability to be reactive and adaptable when work demands change


• Experience using planning or fleet management systems


• Good IT and reporting skills


• Attention to detail and problem\-solving mindset
