Are you a results-driven operations leader who thrives on building high-performing teams, optimizing processes, and delivering exceptional customer experiences? Window Nation is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and grow our installation and branch operations in Romeoville, IL, serving the greater Chicago market.
In this key leadership role, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of branch operations—from installation execution and customer satisfaction to team development, financial performance, and process improvement. You'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on a growing business while helping homeowners transform their homes with industry-leading products and service.
This is an onsite leadership position based in our Romeoville, IL office. Candidates from Chicago and surrounding suburbs are encouraged to apply, including Bolingbrook, Plainfield, Joliet, Naperville, Aurora, Oswego, Downers Grove, Woodridge, Lisle, Lockport, New Lenox, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Shorewood, and other nearby communities throughout the greater Chicago area. 

What You'll Do

  • Lead all branch and installation operations to ensure exceptional customer experiences, operational efficiency, and profitable growth.

  • Drive branch performance by managing key operational metrics, profitability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams while maintaining staffing levels that support business demand.

  • Build strong relationships with customers, installation partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

  • Partner with regional leadership to implement best practices, standard operating procedures, and scalable operational processes.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, quality, and service excellence across the branch.
What We're Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

  • 7+ years of experience in operations, production, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, construction, home improvement, or a related industry.

  • 4+ years of progressive leadership experience with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering measurable business results.

  • Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing service and installation operations within the home improvement, construction, remodeling, roofing, siding, or related industries.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of installation practices, building codes, construction methods, safety standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Experience recruiting, onboarding, and managing subcontractors, independent contractors, or installation crews.

  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L management, forecasting, and cost control.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies.

  • Ability to accurately assess and determine installation requirements for windows, doors, and other home improvement products.
